Today I once again tried to test my speed directly plugged intthe modem as opposed to the router, and I had over 400 megabits per second. But on WiFi it's still only a download speed of 26 megabits per second (it's definitely in bits and not bytes. ) I'm using a TPLINK Archer A 9, also called the Ac 1900 I believe. I thought this router would be great for QOS in particular. So I guess I'm wondering if anyone else owns this router and knows how to fix it, or if anyone can recommend a router that will actually work? Lol. I spent $80 on this router so I'm not looking for something expensive, but if you can recommend something under $100 that will let me occasionally torrent and all the time stream while my roomate games, that would be so great. Thank you. And just in case it matters I use Spectrum for internet. --Edit -- So yes I have disabled QOS and I'm now at 89 megabits down. Modem direct to computer still goes up to 450 though. Anything else I might be able to tweak or is this the percentage of speed I should be getting? Actions available.

No logs in Event View besides windows shutdown unexpectedly stuff. No minidumps. Nothing. What strange is the system works fine since like November last year until like middle of March 2020 the problem happens. Here is my spec. Snapshot published with Speccy The problem comes up ranging from ~10 mins of surfing the internet to 4 hours of continuous gaming. Steps to recreate the hang are vary. From just surfing the internet, watching Youtube, play some demanding games like GTAV or Destiny 2, or stress test with Prime95. Generally, it seems very much random. CPU and GPU temperature don't seem to be of a concern. Reaching up to high 70 for CPU or just around 70 with some fan adjustments. GPU are around mid 70 under load. Windows is updated frequently. Nvidia driver is the latest. I believe BIOS updates might help, but I just knew Intel removed old updates and stuff since Nov 2019 days ago, too late to download from Intel. I found the the post about it with torrent, but, with my download speed, it takes days:( Things I have done are: uninstalling some programs run sfc/dism stuff several times (found no errors) uninstall some drivers (SteelSeries, Glasswire, and some I don't remember) reset BIOS to default it's settings scan for virus/malware with Windows Defender and Malwarebyte (found nothing) change some settings in Control Panel Power Options (currently using high performance profile, problem occurs in balanced profile, too) run memtest86 2 times 4 pass each (free version can't go beyond 4 pass) with 0 errors, re-seating ram sticks, clean computer case Here is my minidumps. Note that this minidumps came from nowhere (except for 032120-5156-01). 99% of the time is just freeze, no BSOD. is BSOD with CRITICAL STRUCTURE CORRUPTION. It came out of nowhere. Don't know how to fix. is DRIVER VERIFIER DETECTED VIOlATION. From the dmp, it seems to be the problem with Glasswire driver. I uninstalled but still get freeze. The freezing happened before these 2 BSOD and still happens after. I'm planning to clean, re-install Windows. Backing up some stuff. Edit1: Formatting, make the post look cleaner. A little more information added. Edit2: Even watching offline videos (footage of my gameplay I recoreded since Battlefield 3 era) still causes freeze after watching for like 5-10 mins.
